  Why are online communities so important?

  It’s not always clear, so here is my take…

  ????Online communities are important because they provide a platform for people to connect and engage with others who share similar interests or experiences. They can offer support, information, and a sense of belonging.

  ????Also, online communities can provide a way for individuals to expand their social networks, learn new skills, and access resources that may not be available in their offline communities.

  ????They also offer a way for people to connect with others who may be geographically distant or have different life circumstances.

  ????The GENCFO community is a living, buzzy community just for accounting and finance professionals in Industry. We have many advisers and ambassadors from the biggest and best brands in the world.

  ????We encourage peer learning and knowledge sharing, looking at three futures (the future of the profession, the future of work, and the future of talent), and encourage honest, open and informative discussion on the new “triple A” CFO organisation (one that leverages Agility, Automation and Analytics).

  ????We vet our community, curate content and manage both online and offline events, to ensure we have not only the largest but the most relevant and thought-leading in the world.
