Digital focused job boards?

Digital focused job boards?
I am often asked to bring in a job board to the community, but I have resisted as it is quite a commitment to do well, and I didn’t want to lose the progressive focus of GENCFO by posting a host of FD and CFO roles.
But it does seem that the finance job market has evolved and there are lots of data and digital focused roles to shout about.

So would it be valuable to have a job board here?

Definitely shouldn’t have CFO or FD roles here, but many of us are continually looking for talent, and rather not go through agencies

For me – no, I wouldn’t use it here. Not every channel can be all things to all people – job ads are not what I’m here for. I have other channels to use for those, should I need them. Here I feel it would be clutter.

From my POV as a non accountant who’s moved into Finance, I think a curated jobs board would be incredibly valuable to the community (and probably lucrative for you!)
In my previous career, I made more use of skill specific job board like this MoveMeOn (https://www.movemeon.com/) rather than generic ones. the team recognised the main areas that that ex-strategy consultants wanted and used their network to connect them with organisation seeking that talent.
You are creating demand in traditional finance functions for more agile, digitally skilled talent therefore it would be a natural extension to bring these types of candidates to the organisations your work with. In my transition I would have valued this type of introduction rather than a standard job ad where the lack of a CIMA certification ruled me out instantly.

@Pritesh that’s a really interesting point about unqualified talent who don’t pass the HR process, but are 100% aligned to the role and competency. I see this a lot and it frustrates me. ie: Is it easier to upskill a great data analyst in business finance fundamentals, or a traditional accountant in data analytics fundamentals… the jury is out, but surely BOTH need to have career paths in the CFO organisation.
