Has anyone else moved to more flexible hours just for the summer?

We have moved to a 9 day fortnight on top of our 3/2 office/home split.

This is a great idea – are you planning to do it again this year?

We have just agreed to do this again in 2024 (and written in to our team charter)

From my POV, it’s thinking time during warm summer day, and an easy ‘bonus’ for the team.

Love it. A lot of Babcock still works on a 4.5 day week – slightly longer hours Mon-Thu, finish at 1pm on Friday. This is an old-school manufacturing pattern that’s survived simply because it’s popular, I think.
